  We’ve only gone and won another award! Curry guru Pat Chapman has named us one of the best 17 restaurants in the UK in The Cobra Good Curry Guide 2013. Indian Ocean keen as Mustard to help Manchester’s homeless

We're thrilled to have won yet another award! On Monday 25th July we won ‘Restaurant of the Year: Best in the North West’ at the first ever English Curry Awards. We beat off competition from Oldham’s Blue Tiffin Restaurant and Indigo in Romiley to take home the regional award. Indian Ocean owner Nahim Aslam was elated to win the award.   Guess who's been nominated for another award...? That's right, we've impressed the judges yet again and been put forward for 'Restaurant of the Year' at the first ever English Curry Awards! Last night (Thursday 24 March 2011) we smashed another Guinness World Record and regained the world's "Tallest Stack of Poppadoms" title!   Our dedicated team of chefs and waiters built the tower to measure 1.57m, beating the existing record by 6cm. The record was witnessed by official judges, Tameside Councilor Bill Harrison and local businessman Jon Howarth, Managing Director at City Accident Response, Ashton-under-Lyne.
